• The Central intermediate unit 10 consists of eight departments providing a variety of services to our constituents. Our departments serve the needs of our diverse stakeholders and include: adult education, business services, curriculum and innovation, the executive office, human resources, information technology, nonpublic school services, preschool/early intervention, and special education.

  • Adult Education

    The Development Center for Adults offers FREE adult education classes available to adults 17 years of age and older who are no longer enrolled in high school.

  • Nonpublic School Services

    The Central Intermediate Unit Nonpublic Schools Services program provides services to any eligible nonpublic school within the Central Intermediate Unit. Eligible schools are non-profit schools with students in grades K through 12.

    The Central Intermediate Unit 10 Preschool Early Intervention Program is a year-round system that identifies and provides early intervention special education services to eligible young children.

    The Central Intermediate Unit (CIU) Special Education Department assists member schools in meeting the educational needs of students with disabilities. Special education services include programming for preschool, elementary, and secondary students who have Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
