Sign Language 3
This class will provide educational staff and other interested people with signing skills to facilitate communication with students who would benefit from the use of sign language to be a support to their language development.
Learning sign language may be a communication tool for students with hearing loss, autism, language impairments (receptive or expressive) or language delays. This class will focus on vocabulary specific to the educational and home environments. There will also be specific phrases and sentences taught in the class that can be used to facilitate the natural conversational flow of language. The expectation of the participants will be to practice the signed sentences and dialogues presented in class to develop and increase fluency when using sign language. Additional signs/phrases/sentences will be incorporated as warranted to meet the needs of the participants in these courses.
Cost: $40 per person
**Must attend Sign Language 1 and 2

Time: 6:30-8:30 pm
**Masks must be worn at all times to attend. Seating will be done as per “Social Distancing”.
