Autism Support

Autism supports available to school districts and charter schools include:

• Training related to Autism Spectrum Disorder with on-site follow-up as needed. 
• Observation of individual students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and consultation with school district teams to provide recommendations and effective strategies for best practices in the classroom.
• Whole classroom observations in a self-contained setting and consultation with school district teams to provide whole classroom strategies to support all learners. 
• Autism trainings are also available upon request to parent groups

Autism Spectrum Disorder Training Topics available per request include but not limited to:

• Overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder: What is Autism and how Autism impacts the brain
• Mock Classroom: Developing foundations for self-contained classrooms
• Supporting students with ASD in the general education environment by preventing challenging behaviors
• Managing challenging behavior in the classroom
