Central Intermediate Unit 10, in cooperation with The College Board Advanced Placement Program, invites both new and experienced teachers to our Advanced Placement Institute®. Our limited class size pairs an experienced high school master teacher with a team of dedicated educators interested in teaching with rigor while engaging learners. 

Our AP Summer Institute® offers a valuable opportunity to strengthen your teaching skills, share ideas with other teaching professionals, and update your credentials. Enrollment in each institute is limited.

The Central Intermediate Unit 10 is a College Board® endorsed provider of our annual Advanced Placement® (AP) Summer Institute.

About the CIU10 Advanced Placement Summer Institute®

For almost a decade, the CIU 10 has held Advanced Placement® (AP) Summer Institutes at Bellefonte Area High School in Historic Bellefonte, PA; offering AP courses to new and experienced teaching professionals from around the country.

Due to the pandemic, the CIU10 APSI® has been held virtually. We hope to pivot back to in person in the near future.

Since becoming a College Board® endorsed provider, the CIU 10 has offered the following courses:
