The National Autism Conference is a four-day conference that provides comprehensive, evidence-based information to assist educators, providers, and families in developing effective educational and therapeutic programming for all students with autism spectrum disorders.
To support family participation in the conference, a Children's Institute will be available. This institute is sponsored by the Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education and will be held at The Penn Stater Conference Center, State College, PA.
Services are provided by the Central Intermediate Unit #10, using trained professional and support staff. The Children's Institute offers an on-site, structured, and fun day camp type of environment for children (six months through age 21) with autism spectrum disorders, and their siblings, who are Pennsylvania residents.
Registration is limited to 100 participants, for whom we must receive completed registration packets by May 31st. Registration applications are only available ONLINE through this website. Once started applications must be completed in full before submitting.
Only confirmed registrants will be able to participate. No drop-off care will be provided.
Please note: Your child is not officially registered until you receive a confirmed acceptance or wait list postcard. No child will be admitted to the Children's Institute without a confirmed registration.
