The CIU VisionWe are the "Go To" intermediate unit. Central Intermediate Unit # 10 customers consider the CIU as the marketplace leader for education services. Customer leaders come to the CIU first when seeking education services. We have the capacity to effectively serve as our customers’ liaison to the Pennsylvania Department of Education and to be the expert that our customers seek when they need assistance to improve programs and reach goals. Our school districts' students are a priority. Our school districts, other stakeholders, customers and the PDE see us as a valued partner. We have a commitment to respond to our customers. We serve the education needs of students and adult learners with quality, innovative programs. We do not say "No." We proclaim, "Yes, we can!” With an entrepreneurial spirit, we seek effective ways to support our customers across our three counties and throughout Pennsylvania. We have a committed, knowledgeable professional and support staff with the fiscal, technological and teaching resources to do the job. We have an efficient management system and diversified revenues designed to support our customers' needs. We are continually evaluating our services and improving our product

Webmaster: Ed CathermanThe Central Intermediate Unit # 10 is one of Pennsylvania's 29 education service agencies. The CIU supports public and private schools and school districts in Clearfield, Centre and Clinton Counties. We are a liaison to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
We provide service to you in all areas of public and private education including Pre-K to Grade 12 student programs and services to teachers, paraeducators, administrators, adult learners and parents. If you have an educational need, we can help. CIU services include NCLB/AYP school improvement consultation, professional development and training for teachers, paraeducators, and administrators, student therapy services, special education services, preschool programs, an autism academy, artists-in-residency services and other student and adult fine arts services, GED and adult education programs, high school summer school and much more.
