Programs operating in Centre County include Adult Basic Education (ABE), GED High School Equivalency Diploma, Pennsylvania Adult Literacy (PAL) Project (which trains volunteer tutors to work with its adult learners), Transitions: College and Career Prep (in partnership with Penn State Continuing Education and State College Area School District Community Education), PSU Math Placement Exam Preparation, Alternative Program for Incarcerated Youth (in partnership with Bellefonte Area School District and the Centre County Prison), Summer School, and Fee-for-Service Projects such as the Corning Project (which provides technical specialist/consultant services to Corning plants in the US, as well as in Taiwan, China, & Japan. In addition to its Pleasant Gap office/classroom location, outreach class sites for ABE/GED are located at Skills, Inc., Penn State University, CPI LPN Program, and the Centre County Prison.
